My Story

I began my career as a tradesman in 2015 when I had completed college for Millwrighting and was fortunate enough to join Local Union 2309, June of that same year. I spent 6 years as a Millwright, experiencing diverse work environments ranging from car factories, concrete plants, steel mills and even into the nuclear power industry. During this period, as a second year apprentice, I began to learn welding during evenings at Durham College and immediately fell in love with it. This led to me exploring welding as a skill more in depth, filling slow work weeks with subcontract work through a fortunate contact who had a pipe welding business. I pursued a 6G ticket through local technical institutions, truly cutting my teeth, and so my direction was solidified. I left the Millwright union and struck out on my own. It has taken considerable effort to build my business, but I am glad for having done so. I haven't looked back for 3 years and counting!

I have worked tirelessly to continue the development of my skills, knowledge and equipment. I have worked for clients of all walks, big and small, and achieved consistent results which I am proud of. I have been able to handle pipe welding, structural welding, pipe fitting and steel erection across many interesting and challenging projects. I believe this constant development shows in my workmanship and professional attitude. In my opinion, honesty and transparency are the most important policies when conducting business.

I can't wait to make your acquaintance!

Respectfully yours,
-Daniel Roberts
